Annual Scientific Meeting Harrogate 2025
Welcome to the BMUS Ultrasound 2025 abstract submission portal. Here, you can submit your abstract to be considered for either an oral, poster or case study presentation.
If you have not yet read them, please take a moment to read the guidelines for submitting your work.
Abstracts not following these guidelines may be declined.
Deadline for submission is 31st July 2025.
If you wish to submit work for the Early Careers Session on Day 1, please click here.
This abstract module is an Oral module only. We do not accept posters for this stream.
This stream is focused on learners and newly qualified sonographers. The stream focuses on developing knowledge and understanding of professional and clinical issues surrounding ultrasound practice to inform professional development and career planning in sonography practice.
This is a great opportunity to develop and enhance your presentation skills in a welcoming and supportive environment and to get helpful feedback. If you have been involved with some interesting clinical application initiatives, for example, evaluating new technology, exploring professional issues regarding sonography, or if you have seen interesting or unusual cases, we would like to hear from you. Alternatively, if you have recently completed your MSc project, an audit or a service evaluation, this stream provides an ideal platform for you to present your work and share good practice.
The abstract judging process is anonymous. Please ensure there are no identifying features in your abstract and supporting documents.
It is recommended that you write your abstract in Word and then copy and paste your abstract into the abstract content box on the form. Use the upload option for any supporting files only – these should also be anonymous.
The deadline for submission of proffered papers and posters is Thursday, 31st July 2025.
We aim to notify all authors of their acceptance by the week commencing 8th September.
Please note that all successful abstract submissions must be supported by either a paid registration to the conference or by paying the presenter fee of £150.
