Early Careers Session 10th December 2025

In view of the conference theme of guiding excellence and nurturing the next generation of sonographers, this stream is focused on learners and newly qualified sonographers. The stream focuses on developing knowledge and understanding of professional and clinical issues surrounding ultrasound practice to inform professional development and career planning in sonography practice.

This is a great opportunity to develop and enhance your presentation skills in a welcoming and supportive environment and to get helpful feedback.  If you have been involved with some interesting clinical application initiatives, for example, evaluating new technology, exploring professional issues regarding sonography, or if you have seen interesting or unusual cases, we would like to hear from you. Alternatively, if you have recently completed your MSc project, an audit or a service evaluation, then this stream provides an ideal platform for you to present your work and share good practice.

Course leaders, supervisors, mentors, and managers are asked to actively encourage and support appropriate individuals to proffer papers for this conference.
