Student, Trainee and Early Career Session

Please use this abstract module to submit oral proffered papers to the Student, Trainee and Early Career session at the BMUS Annual Scientific Meeting. This session takes place on Tuesday 10th December.

These sessions are aimed at supporting the next generation of ultrasound professionals to submit work, and present it in a safe and friendly environment. 

If you are a student, trainee, or in the Early stages of your career and have been involved with some interesting initiatives of clinical application, for example evaluated new technology, explored professional issues regarding sonography or even seen some unusual case, we would like to hear from you.

Alternatively, if you have recently completed your MSc project, an audit or a service evaluation, the BMUS Training Stream is an ideal platform for you to present your work and share good practice with your peers

This is also a great opportunity to develop and enhance your presentation skills in a safe and supportive environment and get feedback if you intend to publish your work.

Abstracts not following these guidelines maybe declined.

The abstract judging process is anonymous. Please ensure in your abstract and supporting documents there are no identifying features. 

It is recommended that you write your abstract in Word and then copy and paste your abstract into the Abstract content box on the form. Use the upload option for any supporting files only, these should also be annonamous.


The deadline for submission is Sunday 15th Spetember 2024

We aim to notify all authors by week commencing 11th September of their acceptance.  Please note that all successful abstract submissions must be supported by either a paid registration to the conference.
