1) Choose the best type of Shearwave Elastography technique suited to your clinical practice which may depend on who performs the study.

2) Different scanners will produce different SWE values and each will have their own reference standards.

3) SWE measurements should not interpreted in isolation from the clinical scenario

4) Report SWE measurements giving the type of scanner used, reference standard for the scanner and the reliability of the measurements made, currently IQR/Median.
