AXREM joins the British Medical Ultrasound Society Council

We are delighted to welcome Sally Edginton to join the council of the British Medical Ultrasound Society as an invited co-opted member. The BMUS Council is the democratic decision making body of BMUS, whose role is to oversee the activities of the Society and support BMUS in meeting its charitable aims and objectives. Elected members of Council are entitled to vote on matters of importance and are responsible for proper management of the Society’s assets. The council is responsible for actively promoting BMUS as the leading multi-disciplinary national body concerned with the practice and science of medical ultrasound. To ensure this professional standing is maintained, BMUS council biannually produces mid- to long-term strategies of the Society in order to promote the Society’s aims and ensure the financially stability of the Society for the benefit of future members. Sally's role as the manufacturers’ representative will ensure that professional, clinical and commercial concerns are equally represented within the society in all future endeavors.
