BMUS Young Investigator Adam Morrell wins award at WFUMB Congress 2023

BMUS member Dr Adam Morrell has won Best Clinical Presentation at the Young Investigator session at the recent WFUMB 2023 Ultrasound World Congress, held in Muscat, Oman, on 4th–7th November.

Adam will be sharing the $2,000 prize with Hyunwoo Cho, who won the award for Best Technical Presentation. The winning abstracts will be published in the December issue of WFUMB’s digital newsletter, ECHOES.

Adam, who is a Consultant Sonographer at Leeds Teaching Hospitals, was winner of the BMUS 2022 Young Investigator competition and the Euroson 2023 Young Investigator Award in Riga last May.

We also look forward to listening to new young investigators presenting their research findings at our upcoming Annual Conference in York in just a few weeks’ time.
