Presenting your work at Ultrasound 2024

The poster exhibition will be located in the Main Exhibition Hall near the BMUS Stand.

All successful presenters will be informed of their allocated poster number at the end of October.

The abstract of each accepted poster will be published in the Final Printed Programme on the Conference App, in an online supplement with the 'Ultrasound' journal on PubMed Central and on the BMUS website. Please make sure your abstract is spell-checked and proofread.

Please read the poster details below carefully

  • The poster board will accept portrait posters only – your poster needs to be made to an A0 portrait size. This is particularly important as we will not be able to display landscape posters.
  • All posters must be attached with Velcro, which you should bring with you.
  • All accepted posters will be included within the conference app; successful poster presenters will be required to supply a PDF copy of their poster for inclusion by the first week of November.
  • Poster viewing will take place throughout the conference, therefore posters MUST be displayed from 09.00 on 10th December (you can access the venue from 08:00) and should NOT be removed prior to 14.00 on 12th December. Please note any posters displayed after 09.00 may be excluded from the poster judging which will take place on Day 1 & 2 of the conference.
  • It is essential that patient anonymity is maintained for all posters submitted. No poster should have any patient information, e.g. name, date, hospital identity number etc., displayed either in the text or on images.

Poster Numbers

The number allocated to each poster will be advised once the judging process is complete.
